Lot going on in this one. The stuff in the foreground is ice encasing one of the lilac trees. I wonder if this will affect its ability to bloom?

It's a street light actually. It does look moon-ish though, I hadn't even thought of that...

not to be difficult or anything, but lavender is not a tree. it's a shrub.

I do believe he was speaking of the color, not the plant, especially as lavender doen't branch as this tree obviously does :)

Actually, I mis-spoke -- I meant a lilac tree. Sigh. I'll edit this entry's title to reflect the correct name. (for future readers, I have entitled this 'Icy Lavendar Tree')
