This is the shower water temperature/water flow control panel from a hotel room in Kah-Nee-Ta, near Mount Hood. I was unhappy with the range of temperature possibilities (from 'cold' to 'warmish') and the integration of water flow in the same device which controlled temperature -- your choices for water flow were simply 'on' and 'off'. Because of these failings, I thought I'd take a picture of the device. I think it makes good wallpaper.

Due to popular demand, here's another picture of crazy tree sap in Port Townsend, Washington. Anybody know why it's so colorful?

The Spa Tub - Love Waits

|

A while back, I stayed in a little condo on the beach during a work trip. It had a big whirlpool spa tub in the grand, enormous, skylit bathroom. How nice! I had a bath in there. Next to the tub was a little card with an illustration. Slightly tacky, but colorful.

Hmm, what does it say on that card? Click on the picture to read for yourself. My translation: Please stop having sex in the whirlpool tub.
